GOP Cuts Hurt Everyone

 This is a critical time for the United States and the worlds’ economy.

As of this week, President Biden and Congress are in critical negotiations to avoid a financial crisis.

The crisis has to do with raising the National debt ceiling.

If  Congress fail to raise the countrys’ debt ceiling by early June, the United States could go into default and it’s bills wouldn’t be paid. 

In other words, our economy would be devastated.

Many seniors and those dependent on Social Security wouldn’t be able to make ends meet.

Many in the military wouldn’t be paid.

Many social programs would be devastated, government employees would not get paid, our government wouldn’t function.

The GOP claim they’re pro-life, yet they want proposed budget cuts to social programs that help many American families.

The GOP also want tougher work requirements for Medicaid, SNAP benefits. 

The GOP also don’t want to cut spending for the  defense

The GOP claim the cuts are needed to help the budget and help our economy grow. 

Once again GOP logic doesn’t work.

Wasn’t it the GOP who voted against raising the minimum wage for workers, gave tax breaks to the rich.

Isn’t it the GOP who doesn’t want to cut for the defense budget but yet want cuts when it’s in regards to social programs that help many.

Many American families depend on social programs to survive. 

If the GOP get their way, families who don’t meet the eligibility for Medicaid, SNAP, would lose benefits they desperately need to survive.

The right of many Americans to make ends meet while going about their lives is as American as apple pie.

Americans want a strong economy, they want to make ends meet for their families. 

The cuts the GOP want aren’t the answer to it!
